Origins

There are many different types of career personality test. Two of the most popular are the Myers-Briggs test, which was created by Katherine Briggs and Isable Myers, and the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, created by David Keirsey.

Myers-Briggs

The Myers-Briggs test is based on the attitude of an individual and is broken into two major functions, extrovert and introvert, plus six other functions which are sensing, thinking, judging, intuition, feeling and perceiving.

Keirsey Temperament Sorter

Even though the Keirsey Temperament Sorter is closely related to the Myers-Briggs, it measures the temperament of an individual and is broken up into four types: rational, idealist, artisans and guardians.
